The Homo Novus `99 resume catalogue

Homo Novus `99 resume catalogue, issued by the New Theatre Institute, is a summary of the ideas and thoughts expressed by the experts and interested persons in the thematic discussion club and seminar The Baltic Theatre Policy Review. The possibilities to solve the existential and financial problems of Latvian and Baltic theatres in today’s economic and social context, wishes and visions about the theatre we want to create in future.

 The director of German theatre festivals Hanna Hurtzig,  the leader of Swedish organization Intercult Chris Torch, Norvegian producer Kjetil Skoien, leader of Lithuanian Information and Education Center for Cinema and Theatre Audronis Liuga, general managers of  the Baltic theatres, directors of Latvian festivals, young directors Viesturs Kairiss, Nikolay Roschin, Benas Đarka, Regnars Vaivars, Latvian theatre critics and others tried  to draw a fresh map of  the Latvian, Baltic and European theatres during the disputes.
