 Latvian artists at Santiago a Mil festival in Chile
Latvian scenographer Monika Pormale and fashion designers mareunrol's (Mārīte Mastiņa and Rolands Pēterkops) have arrived in Santiago de Chile to take part at the International Festival of Theatre Santiago a Mil. The festival will present their installations "Exhibit I", "Exhibit II" and "The Tenant / Untitled Movement", all created for the international project INTERsection: Intimacy and Spectacle, and produced by the New Theatre Institute of Latvia in co-operation with Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space. In 2011 the works have been exhibited in Prague, Riga, Nitra, Santarcangelo, Terni, etc.

 Reinis Suhanovs nominated for Purvītis prize
Scenographer Reinis Suhanovs has been nominated for the main Latvian visual arts prize "Purvīša balva" selection 2012 for his installation "Space Inside Space" which was originally created as the Latvian National exposition at Prague Quadrennial and exhibited also in Riga during the Internationl Festival of Contemporary Theatre Homo Novus 2011.
